About

Sinteag Ventures develops security architecture for structural failure modes.

Sinteag Ventures, Inc. is a 20-year applied research and intellectual-property development company focused on architecture-level solutions for infrastructure, cybersecurity, energy, cooling, and control-intensive systems.

Sinteag Ventures

Applied R&D, IP development, and commercialization discipline.

Sinteag develops systems that address structural failure modes rather than merely managing symptoms. The company's work has focused on identifying where conventional architectures break under scale, stress, concentration, heat, cost, or adversarial pressure, then developing patentable control architectures that can be validated and transitioned.

Invariant Vector Defense (IVD) is the current cybersecurity product family under that model. It reflects Sinteag's broader approach: define the failure mode, isolate the control boundary, reduce the problem to a limited decision, and preserve system stability before downstream damage spreads.

Design rationale

The architecture starts from cost asymmetry and earlier control points.

IVD did not begin as a conventional monitoring stack. It began as a systems question: why do large, distributed failures become unmanageable only after they are allowed to converge or inherit trust?

The rationale page explains the design choices behind IVD: cost asymmetry, signal extraction from noisy systems, bounded decision-making, and earlier control points. It does not rely on scientific analogy, institutional endorsement, or authority borrowing.

Product Family

IVD is a dual-prong security architecture.

Invariant Vector Defense is built around one governing idea: high-consequence systems should not wait for harmful behavior to fully arrive, concentrate, execute, or spread before policy is applied.

IVD-N addresses network availability. It is designed to identify coordinated malicious traffic, group that behavior into limited macro-objects, and support mitigation earlier in the path before attack traffic reaches the protected edge.

IVD-ACP addresses execution and trust risk. It evaluates artifacts, commands, administrative actions, software inputs, and AI-driven workflow elements before they are trusted, indexed, retrieved, or executed.

Doctrine

Earlier policy before downstream damage.

IVD-N and IVD-ACP operate on different surfaces, but they share the same pattern. Do not chase every packet, source, document, prompt, command, or artifact one by one. Identify the structure that makes the event dangerous, reduce it to a limited decision, and enforce policy before downstream systems lose stability or authority.

That pattern makes IVD different from tools that rely primarily on after-the-fact cleanup, runtime filtering, or endless lists of indicators.

Current Posture

Patent-pending, validation-oriented, and evaluation-ready.

The current IVD posture is controlled-environment validation, federal and design-partner evaluation readiness, and patent-pending architectural protection. IVD should be understood as a validated prototype and evaluation-stage product family, not as a production deployment or accreditation claim.

IVD is currently led through Sinteag Ventures by Skip Middleton. The platform is supported by filed U.S. non-provisional patent applications and controlled-environment validation materials. Current work is focused on TRL-7-oriented independent testing, design-partner evaluation, and federal-lab readiness.

IVD is intended to complement existing security controls, not replace patching, identity management, endpoint protection, web application firewalls, downstream scrubbing, or normal operational discipline.

Current Stage and Accountability

Clear responsibility for architecture, evidence, and next-step evaluation.

IVD is currently led through Sinteag Ventures by Skip Middleton, founder and inventor of the IVD architecture. The platform is supported by filed U.S. non-provisional patent applications and controlled-environment validation materials. Current work is focused on TRL-7-oriented independent testing, design-partner evaluation, and federal-lab readiness rather than production deployment claims.

Skip's background includes founder, advisory, turnaround, and commercialization work in infrastructure, operating-company, and software-oriented settings. That background is relevant here as accountability and execution context, not as a claim of current team size, customer traction, or completed deployment.

Advisory and Validation Posture

Technical review relationships are being developed through the evaluation path.

IVD is actively seeking technical review from qualified network-security, software-supply-chain, AI-security, and federal-lab evaluators. Advisory and validation relationships are being developed as part of the TRL-7 transition path.

The site does not claim an existing advisory board, completed federal validation, or a large operating team. The present emphasis is qualified review, independent testing, and defined-scope design-partner evaluation.
